Happy Fourth Sunday of March and Fourth Sunday of Lent! After what has been a good week weather wise, we feel that change from winter to spring. Days in 40s and nights in the 20s and 30s. April 1st is one week away! Our church’s Yard Sale / Bake Sale / and Craft Sale will be held in our church basement next Saturday from 8AM to 1PM. We are still looking for yard sale donations. Please contact Amy Matthews if you have anything.
All are welcome to attend our service this Sunday at 10AM. We are located on the River Road in Cherryfield, Maine. This Sunday, The Rev. Dr. Kathy Henry is again filling in for Rev. Zimmerman. Rev. Z will be back on Palm Sunday next Sunday. Rev. Kathy Henry’s sermon is titled, “Former Things, New Things” Our scripture readings come from Isaiah 43:18-12 and Mark 2:1-12. We would like to thank Kathy Henry for filling in for Rev. Z while he has been gone this past month.
Malen Hsu will be playing our music. Amy Matthews is taking a week off this Sunday. George Crawford will be taping our service and it will be posted later on Sunday. Please watch service online or read through our bulletin in the pictures below.
Enjoy your week ahead! Remember your shoes are probably not untied next Saturday! But there will be plenty of great things to be found at our church sale! Maybe donate some stuff and bring your family members to the sale. They might even say that some of the stuff looks familiar to them and buy it back! ;)! You can say “April Fools” and help the church at the same time! ;)!
Live your faith, find humor in life when needed, and do good for others. Remember life and faith are a journey to learn as a person and as a soul. We are also here to love others and serve God. God is also there for us. Try to live this and think about it as we prepare for Palm Sunday next Sunday! Hosanna! God bless and be with you this week! :)!
