The Pastor’s Study

Pastor Larry Zimmerman at the church pulpit.

Dear Friends,

Welcome to the web page of the First Congregational Church of Cherryfield. Whether you are a member checking on the latest news, a friend checking in, or someone looking for a church home, we are pleased to hear from you.

In the eleven years that I have been serving in Cherryfield, I have found this to be more than a welcoming community. It is a place of vigor and good fellowship. We may be a small church, but we are a mighty church in enthusiastic worship and community outreach. Our prayer list alone is evident of our concern for the needs of people in our community and beyond.

If you are looking for a church home, I want to take this opportunity to invite you to worship. If you want to experience community fellowship, come and enjoy one of our church suppers.

The spirit of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is truly present in this place, and his power and grace are evident in so many ways.

I pray that your day is going well and should you need prayers, guidance, or a place to come and praise God, please let us know.

Below, you will find messages from the heart and scripture about the love of our Savior Jesus Christ. I hope that these messages inspire you to walk closer with God and to seek His face more often. Please share them with your friends and family!

May God’s grace be with you always,

Rev. Larry A. Zimmerman, Pastor

  1. Rev. Zimmerman we appreciated your message and prayer when we visited. And, the music was a great. I am written also to ask if you could send me a snail mail address for Leta F. so that I can mail some photos from the early sixties. Thank you Janet Heslam

  2. I too want to know if I can contribute to the church online in honor of Leta F.

    • I passed on your message last Sunday to Rev. Zimmerman. He should be contacting you.
